(under the class definition) Apparatus in which there is provided a fluid conduit and a separate impelling member for propelling fluid through the conduit, the impelling member having motion or a component of motion which is transverse to the direction of fluid flow in the conduit said transverse motion or component of motion being effective to propel or aid in the propulsion of the fluid through the conduit.
