DEFINITION

Classification: 417/397

(under subclass 375) Apparatus in which the fluid motor has a movable working member for driving plural pumping members, said working and pumping members having an alternate to-and-fro motion along a common longitudinal axis of reciprocation, the motor working member being located between

said pumping members and drivingly connected thereto in a manner such that all of said members move in unison during the normal mode of operation; (includes flexible wall type motors and pumps).

(1) Note. Apparatus in which the fluid motor working member comprises a movable piston and the pumping members comprise movable cylinders, or vice versa, is excluded under this definition; see subclass 400, below, for subject matter of this type.
