DEFINITION

(under the class definition) Apparatus wherein a working member* or a rigid extension thereof is pivotally connected to a crank portion of a rotary shaft or a mechanical equivalent thereof and so guided or supported that the member has a motion resembling that of a conventional hand manipulated canoe paddle, sculling oar, rowing oar or stirring member.
