DEFINITION

Classification: 415/213.1

Casing with mounting means:

(under subclass 182.1) Device wherein the means comprises a casing* and a means for securing or anchoring the casing to an external frame of reference.

(1) Note. External frames of reference may include such items as the floor or another structure on which the device is anchored, for example.

(2) Note. Devices comprising means to secure a casing to an outer housing (e.g., securing an inner casing to an outer casing) are included in this subclass if the space between the inner casing and the outer housing is not vented to the working fluid*.
