Runner supported portion engages shaft transmission train (e.g., peripheral gear drive, etc.):

(under subclass 122.1) Device comprising a means to transmit motion between a runner* and a driven or driving shaft which means causes or permits relative motion or speed between the runner and the shaft. The means includes a motion transmitting element which is carried on the runner.

(1) Note. A runner shaft is not considered to be a portion of the runner for purposes of this subclass. Thus, a shaft transmission train which merely incorporates a motion transmitting gear which is carried on a shaft* which supports

the runner for rotation is not included in this subclass.
