Classification: 409/9

Using relatively reciprocating or oscillating cutter:

(under subclass 8) Apparatus or method wherein the means to form or sever is a cutting tool adapted to move to-and-fro along a straight or arcuate line with respect to the workpiece during cutting.

(1) Note. A rotary cutting on a reciprocating carriage is

not considered to be "reciprocating or oscillating" for this subclass.
