With means to rotate work and means to interrelatedly infeed the work relative to the cutter:
(under subclass 65) Apparatus including a base, including means to cause the workpiece to rotate about the axis thereof relative to the cutting tool and relative to the base, and including means to cause relative motion between the rotating cutter and the workpiece to thereby bring about the cutting action, further including means to cause the cutting tool to approach the workpiece a prescribed distance for a prescribed number of revolutions of the workpiece.
