(under subclass 58) Apparatus or method for simultaneously forming multiple protuberances about the periphery of a generally circular workpiece, wherein the cutting tool includes a first cutting edge for forming a first intermeshable element and includes a second cutting edge spaced about the workpiece from the first cutting edge for forming a second intermeshable element.
(1) Note. The gear formed by the cutting tool of this subclass may have radially outwardly or radially inwardly extending gear teeth.
