DEFINITION

With means to change rate of infeed:

(under subclass 183) Apparatus including means to selectively cause the shaping operation to occur at a first rate or at a second different rate.

(1) Note. In the device of this subclass, the rate of cutter infeed may be changed during the cutting stroke or

between cutting strokes.

(2) Note. An idle return stroke is not considered to be part of the cutting stroke.
