(under subclass 72) Device wherein the work-contacting structure includes a surface similar to the inside of a cone, which surface is specifically adapted to receive a projecting portion of the work to align that portion of the work relative to the device.
(1) Note. The "conical" surface of this subclass is not necessarily circular in cross-section. However, it must be
three-dimensional. For example, a simple notch adapted to align a rod is not considered to be similar to a cone.
