(under subclass 72) Device wherein the work is attracted to the work-engaging means by either, (1) the action on ferrous work of aligned molecules in the additional means; or, (2) by the reduction of atmospheric pressure in restricted areas between the work-engaging surface and the work to cause the work to be urged toward the surface by atmospheric pressure acting on other areas of the work.
