(under subclass 132) Device including an input means connected to a remote source of power and an output means adapted to transmit power from that source to the tool, wherein the drive means includes provision to change the velocity of the output means without a corresponding change in velocity of the input means.
(1) Note. An "input" means is any moving part of a device to which power is applied; whereas an "output" means is any moving part of that device from which power is supplied to another device; therefore, the "output" of one device may be the input of the other device.
