(under subclass 232) Method or apparatus including a step or means for forming the elongated member or a portion thereof in approximately the position in which it is to be used by placing a flowable material (e.g., cement) and then permitting or causing the flowable material to set or congeal into a stable mass.

(1) Note. Forming a foundation pile by mixing cementitious material with the earth in situ is considered earth treatment.
