(under subclass 188) Method or apparatus in which the diving apparatus comprises a compartment containing a breathable gaseous environment and a hatchway leading to the same, and means are provided for attaching said diving apparatus to a submerged vessel or structure which also includes a compartment, whereby the compartments of diving apparatus and the vessel or structure are in communication with each other via said hatchway.
