DEFINITION

Classification: 401/75

(under subclass 68) Implement having an element coaxially coupled to one of said members by means which permits relative movement between said member in an axial direction only, during the operation of the screw-feed mechanism, so that said element may transmit torque to said member at any point along the path of travel of the latter.

(1) Note. The drawing below illustrates one example of the subject matter of this subclass. The square bore in element C provides a coupling with the square shaft of member A to allow relative non-rotatable axial movement between A and C. The member A may be rotated relative to member B, by the element C, to move A axially with respect to B. [figure]
