DEFINITION

(under subclass 196) Implement wherein a substantial portion of the previous material forming the tool, or of a separate porous member in contact therewith, extends into a reservoir* for maintaining an uninterrupted supply of coating material

to the tool by capillary movement through the interstices of the previous material.
