(under subclass 630) Subject matter wherein the typewriter is provided with means to move a sheet through the typewriter, which means is shiftable into a first position at which it will not move the sheet or into a second position at which it will move the sheet, wherein the aligning structure is shiftable into a first position at which it will align the sheet or into a second position at which it will not align, but instead permit the sheet to be moved through the typewriter, and wherein the first position of the moving means coincides with the first position of the aligning means whereby the sheet will be aligned when the sheet moving means is not operative.
