(under subclass 441) Subject matter wherein significance is attributed to structure that holds the pivot or axis on which the type-bar* member oscillates, which structure may be varied in its location or effect on the oscillation of the type-bar.
(1) Note. In the typewriter of this subclass the type-bar bearing is adjustable as to its position, its frictional characteristics, or resistance to oscillation of the type-bar, etc.
