Roller bearing or ball bearing for type-bar:

(under subclass 441) Subject matter wherein significance is attributed to the form of bearing that enables a type-bar* member to oscillate from its rest position to its print-point position and return to its rest position, the bearing being a roller bearing or a ball bearing.

(1) Note. A form of bearing for this subclass includes two annular members having an annular space therebetween, in which annular space a plurality of rollers or balls are provided. By this construction, one of the members is enabled to rotate relative to the other member, the rollers or the balls revolving and rotating within the annular space.
