(under subclass 422) Subject matter wherein the type-bar* movement is effected by a mechanism that includes an elongated component that is pivoted adjacent to one end thereof, said one end being configured as a curved extension that extends into a concavity of a cooperating member that is included in said mechanism, the curved extension also having a side edge periphery that varies in radius around the periphery whereby as the component pivots its periphery
extending into the concavity will cause movement of the cooperating member.
