(under subclass 397) Subject matter having means to supply the lubricant to the bearings by pressure.
(1) Note. Included are pump systems and bearings groove, or otherwise altered so that lubricant under pressure can be supplied to the bearing surface. A reservoir, or pressure normally produced by rotation of a shaft is not proper for
this subclass.
(2) Note. If the lubricant supports one of the two relatively rotating elements to the extent that there is positive clearance between them in operation, the patents are placed in 100+.
