DEFINITION

Classification: 376/376

Re-entrant type:

(under subclass 375) Subject matter wherein the plural coolant passes, the coolant flows first along one flow path in a fuel element structure in one direction and then flow through a different flow path in the same fuel element structure in the reverse direction.

(1) Note. The flow, for example, may first be along the inner surface of the outer wall of the fuel assembly and then reverse its direction and flow back through a center portion of the fuel assembly.
