Switching a message which includes an address header (e.g., packet switching):

(under subclass 351) Subject matter wherein information data to be switched is organized with one or more bytes preceded by an identification information indicative of a source or destination station.

(1) Note. The switching of the message having an address header is commonly called packet switching.
