(under the class definition) Subject matter wherein the multiplex feature is unique to a system in which data flow is normally slow and data is not recurring at exactly the same periods.

(1) Note. Examples of such systems are teletypewriter and telegraphy.

(2) Note. A signal transmission speed lower than 300

symbols per second may be considered a low speed transmission in the scope of this class.
