Repositionable digging edge (e.g., reversible):

(under subclass 446) Apparatus wherein a cutting implement is adapted to be disassembled and reassembled in a different position so that a different portion of the cutting implement can be used to directly engage the material to be excavated. (1) Note. Included in this subclass are patents having digging implement which is adjustably positioned in a variety of positions or can be easily interchanged to provide various cutting edge contours by rotation through 180 degrees or reattachment.

(2) Note. After the digging edge has received a desired degree of wear, its operating position on the base member may be reversed so as to present a fresh or unworn surface so that the life of the digging edge will be effectively prolonged.
