(under subclass 89) Subject matter wherein at least one channel or combined signal modulates an A.C. wave prior to storage, or demodulation of such wave after retrieval.
(1) Note. Frequently, both a direct wave and a modulated wave are stored upon the same track to permit storage of four channels on two tracks.
