DEFINITION

Classification: 352/72

(under the class definition) Subject matter in which the motion device employs a film strip housed in a removable enclosure containing both a supply and a take-up spool such that the entire enclosure including the spool is removable and insertable as a unit.

(1) Note. To be classified herein a patent must have significant motion picture structure as the cooperation of two photos:graphic elements such as a lens and a gate, or the details of one such element such as a gate. Patents which merely recite such an element broadly as a part of a magazine combination are classified in Class 242, Winding, Tensioning, or Guiding. If only the construction details of the magazine are recited the patent is classified in Class 220.
