(under subclass 80) Subject matter including structure for raising or lowering the level of the liquid resistance element with respect to the electrodes inserted in the liquid element; or including structure for moving or permitting movement of the electrodes up and down in the liquid element.
(1) Note. This subclass includes resistors whose effective electrical length between electrodes is varied by adjusting the submersion of electrodes in a liquid. See search notes below.
