DEFINITION

Classification: 338/51

(under the class definition) Subject matter wherein a surface of the resistance element, casing, terminal, or other resistance structure is enlarged or increased in area over what is otherwise necessary by a projecting portion integral therewith or attached thereto, such as vanes, fins, or corrugations, to increase the heat radiated, dissipated, or otherwise transferred from the surface structure of the resistor to the surrounding or adjacent medium.
