(under subclass 240) Subject matter wherein the metallic sheath surrounds or closes around the loop formed by the resistance element and/or leads without extending into the space between the ends of the loop or into the bight of the loop, i.e., the sheath surrounds the loop as a unit, as opposed to a sheathed elongated resistance element with the sheath and element being together bent into a loop.
