DEFINITION

Classification: 338/113

(under subclass 101) Subject matter wherein the means for varying the contact pressure includes a resilient spring in the linkage which transmits the pressure to the pile or on the end of the pile opposite to that where the compressive force is applied, the spring serving to progressively apply the contact pressure to the pile.

SEE OR SEARCH THIS CLASS, SUBCLASS:

108, for pile type compressible resistors which are operated by a pedal or treadle, and which include a resilient spring in the pressure applying linkage.
