DEFINITION

Classification: 338/104

(under subclass 103) Subject matter including two electromagnetic operators each applying a positive compressive or releasing force to a respective end of the pile, or a linkage connected with a single electromagnetic

operator for applying a positive compressive or releasing force to both ends of the pile.

(1) Note. For classification here an actual force must be applied to both ends of the pile. A mere abutment at one end which exerts a holding force in opposition to the force applied at the other end by the relay or motor is not sufficient for classification here, but elsewhere under subclass 103.
