DEFINITION

Classification: 337/322

(under subclass 306) Subject matter wherein the temperature responsive actuating means is specifically recited as including a Bourdon tube device. The Bourdon tube is a tubular structure, usually of stainless steel or other similar material with a large coefficient of expansion and bent upon itself in the shape of a sector of a torus and when subjected to heat of pressure tends to straighten out, thereby actuating a movable contact structure.
