DEFINITION

Classification: 337/32

(under subclass 31) Subject matter including a plate or other grounding terminal means, whereby, upon the occurrence of an abnormal voltage, a current discharge takes place to ground with the gap resuming a nonconducting condition when the voltage returns to normal value.
