(under subclass 132) Subject matter wherein the inductor device is provided with at least two coils, one of the core portions forming a continuous flux path inductively coupling the two coils, the movable magnetic core portion being arranged between the two coils so as to provide an adjustable shunt for shunting some of the magnetic flux from the core portion forming the continuous flux path so that one of the coils may be linked by a different amount of magnetic flux than that which links the other coil.
