DEFINITION

Classification: 335/39

(under subclass 38) Subject matter wherein the trip structure includes significant means whereby the tripping operation is delayed for a predetermined interval of time after the occurrence of the circuit condition tending to cause such a tripping action. The significant time delay means may consist of a thermal or other restraining means, provided that, it acts directly upon the magnetically operated tripping means to thereby prevent the said magnetic means from performing a tripping operation during the period of restraint.
