DEFINITION

(under subclass 65) Subject matter wherein the inductor and capacitor of the tuned circuit have a common mutually variable inductance and capacitance structure, the adjustment of which effects both the inductance and capacitance value of the tuned circuit simultaneously.
(1) Note. A mutually variable adjustment element is limited to an element in common with both the inductor and capacitor that causes simultaneous variations in the respective reactance characteristics of both the inductor and capacitor.
