DEFINITION

Classification: 334/50

(under subclass 47) Subject matter wherein the switching unit consists of a rotatable drum or cylinder having a plurality of individual components or tuning elements secured in position about the periphery of the drum or cylinder, the components or tuning elements being connected to contact elements which are also carried on the periphery of the drum or cylinder, and rotating means to move the drum or cylinder about its longitudinal axis to thereby bring the contacts located on the drum or cylinder into contact with stationary contacts located on a support member adjacent a portion of the surface of the drum or cylinder.
