(under subclass 1) Subject matter wherein the A.F.S. loop of the oscillator is provided with means to modify or control the error voltage so as to compensate or correct for undesired changes in the error voltage brought about by some deficiency in the oscillator system, such as a drift in reference frequency, hunting due to instability around the A.F.S. loop, undesired shift in phase of side band frequencies, and so forth.
