DEFINITION

Classification: 331/144

(under subclass 143) Subject matter, wherein the relaxation oscillator comprises at least two discharge paths of the active element type, the output of each being coupled to the input of the other, at least one of the couplings including a resistance-capacitance or resistance-inductance network, the arrangement being such that the two discharge paths are

caused to be actuated cyclically, the time constant of the network determining the fundamental frequency of the oscillator.

SEE OR SEARCH THIS CLASS, SUBCLASS:

113, for a stable or free-running multivibrators of the transistor type.

130, for plural gas tube relaxation oscillators which may be of the a stable multivibrator type.

159+, for crystal oscillators of the plural tube type wherein the tubes may be alternately conductive (e.g., push-pull oscillator).

168, for plural tube LC oscillators of the push-pull type.
