(under the class definition) Oscillators wherein means consisting of a gaseous space discharge device is utilized to control a source of energy for exciting the frequency determining network of the oscillator.

(1) Note. A gaseous space discharge device is a device having at least two electrodes in a gas or vapor medium and whereby a flow of electricity results between the electrodes when the gas or vapor is ionized.
