pairs of conjugately related terminals, one pair of terminals being connected to the output circuit and the other pair of terminals being connected to the input circuit of the transistor, the arrangement being such that regeneration (oscillation) occurs only at the desired frequency, energy at all other frequencies being attenuated because of degeneration.
