Circular cutter with respect to workpiece or workpiece support:

(under subclass 628) Subject matter wherein the cutting edge of the cutter revolves in a circular path and the gauge contacts the cutter and the workpiece or the workpiece support to locate the cutter with respect to the workpiece or workpiece support.

(1) Note. Typically, but not necessarily, the cutting edges of the cutters of this subclass type are so oriented on the cutter with respect to the cutter's axis of rotation as to generate a cylinder when the cutter is rotated.
