DEFINITION

Classification: 315/287

(under subclass 246) Systems provided with means in the supply circuit of the load device to vary the current or voltage applied to the load device between a low and high value at constantly recurring intervals.

(1) Note. This subclass provides for systems under the class definition wherein the source of current or voltage supply is a direct source, and the periodic regulator converts the current or potential to pulsating current or potential.
