(under subclass 250) Systems wherein the load devices are electric space discharge devices of the type which conduct more current in one direction of current flow between the cathode and anode electrodes than is conducted in the other direction of current flow between the cathode and anode electrodes, the load devices being connected to an alternating current source so that a discharge is established alternately in the discharge devices with each half of the alternating current wave.
