DEFINITION

Classification: 313/298

(under subclass 297) Discharge devices which are provided with either a plurality of separate cathode or a plurality of separate nonemissive electrodes (e.g., anodes) in addition to the interposed apertured or grid-like electrodes, so that the discharge device has at least two separate inter-electrode spaces, at least two apertured or grid-like electrodes being interposed in one of the inter-electrode spaces in superimposed relation with respect to each other.
