DEFINITION

Classification: 313/169

(under subclass 163) Discharge devices which has a plurality of anodes and which have a shield interposed between two of the anodes to prevent discharges from one anode to the other.

(1) Note. In some of the devices in this subclass, each of the anodes is surrounded by a tubular sleeve which is the anode shield.
