(under subclass 202) Apparatus wherein at least a portion of the cylindrical element has a cavity or opening formed thereon or has a surface which is not circular in cross section.
(1) Note. The noncircular portion of the pin must be a part thereof which engages within a bearing portion of the parts to be connected, and not merely the head of the pin.
