DEFINITION

Classification: 30/92

(under the class definition) Cutting devices and implements, specially designed for cutting cylindrical pipes or rods and which are supported in their entirety by the work and/or manually during the cutting operation.

(1) Note. Cutting tools adapted for this purpose but of more general application will be found in the structure subclasses of this class.

(2) Note. In the above definition the term "work" may include work parts adjacent to the pipe or rod, e.g., a boiler head carrying pipes, or one of the several pipes forming a boiler.
