DEFINITION
Classification: 30/309
(under subclass 165) Cutting tools having a substantially crescent shaped blade lying in or out of the plane of the handle but otherwise extending at a substantial angle thereto. They are usually used for cutting grass, or grain, including corn.
(1) Note. Mere blades will be found in this class, subclasses 346+, especially subclass 348.
